DTU   The master thesis Sustainability of carbon ferries has been done in equal collaboration between Meta Christina Borgen Dam and Niels Brehm Nielsen in 2013. The thesis was made at DTU Management Engineering and includes both comparitive analyses and life cycle assessment analyses of carbon ferries.

 esi ships   The Norwegian company Effect Ships International AS has for more than 10 years been devolping a new concept for Air Supported Vessels (ASV). The technology reduces the wet surfurce significantly using an air cusion below the V-shaped hull. An ASV design was analysed in the BBgreen Project sponsored by the EU seventh framework programme.
